In October 2014, we visited Buenos Aires in Argentina to restart our research for the de Nicola - Persoglia family history. We moved on to Chaco province to visit two more sisters. While there, we copied numerous old family photos and children's art. We met Raquela's sister, another de Nicola.
In this photo, though, we are just enjoying a holiday in Mendoza, the heart of Argentine wine country. The "shadow selfie" is one of many photos in that beautiful place. From left to right: George, Jean, and Raquela. One excursion through a high valley in the Andes Mountains took us to the border of Chile. The provincial park is home to the highest mountain peak, Aconcagua, outside of Asia. (We did not climb it!)  Now, to finishing the book.
