Since it was established in 1989, Wayne & Ridge Publishing has developed a booklist of personal family history and assisted histories for allied families. Once George took his early retirement, he was off on a quest to answer old questions that popped up during family story-telling. When the details hit critical mass, he enlisted Jean to wrestle them into book form.

Lore and genealogy gave way in time to the need for the social history of immigrant ancestors, and a fuller history began to take form. That's how maternal ancestors as well as paternal lineage crept into the full story being told to a new generation.

Once there were grandchildren, it was easy to see that our half of their story was just that--one half. So George enlisted the other grandparents to assemble the rest of the story.
